If you are looking for an individualised program to work on your unique needs, try our Pilates Studio Sessions incorporating Pilates machines and equipment. After an initial 1:1 consultation we create your own personal program. You can then choose to attend private sessions, duets, or group sessions. There are never more than three to four people per instructor in a one hour group session to guarantee you receive the very best personal attention and instruction.
During pregnancy it is important to exercise regularly and, most importantly, safely. Commencing or maintaining your Pilates practice during this time can particularly help you to avoid pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain.
Why? Pilates will assist in ensuring the optimal function of your pelvic floor muscles and the postural muscles of the lower back and pelvis all of which are challenged during this time. Better still, your Pilates practice throughout pregnancy can assist in a speedier recovery in the post-natal period.
Your pre-natal Pilates needs are best met in our studio sessions where we can provide specific exercises and modifications to meet your individual needs. And providing all is going well, you can participate in Pilates right up to the big day.
During the post-natal period we can assist you in your recovery through continued studio sessions.
Our studio groups also cater to teenagers, especially sport specific needs, strength and conditioning. Our multi-disciplinary practice allows for transition between physiotherapy treatment whenever injuries may present. Recovery is a collaborative approach between allied health professionals and highly qualified Pilates instructors in a safe and caring environment.
A Studio Pilates session can provide medical and health benefits but is not considered a clinical intervention. As such, it is ineligible for claiming under your private health insurance Extras cover.
